Triangle Macintosh Consulting is owned and operated by Tom Rouillard, a newspaper and Internet professional who has spent 20 years using, troubleshooting, repairing and programming Macintosh computers in home and business situations.

As a reporter and editor, Tom wrote about technology in such a way that readers could fully understand the emergence of the Internet and its impact on their lives. He parlayed that knowledge and his computer skills into a new kind of job as an online news manager back when the Internet was still pretty new in 1996.

In 2000, Tom took the reigns of an established online news pioneer -- The Nando Times -- as the interactive news director. That was followed by two years directing a group of talented software developers building web-based, database-driven, content management systems.

Over the years, he has become an accomplished communicator, manager, programmer and journalist. All throughout this time, Tom maintained a love of the Mac -- using it to automate publishing processes, programming mailing lists, creating web sites, devising search engines, editing photos and creating audio.

This unique combination of skills makes it possible for him to see problems from many angles and devise solutions that work.
